They were skeptical about adoption since they knew little about to how to go about it. I soon realized that they would be very good parents to any child they adopted and so I decided to help them to find out what are the different types of child adoption and which one they would be most suited for. Having done some research to find as much information as possible to help them in this regard, I began to share their anxiety and excitement. I even decided to find some people who have adopted before and let them talk to the couple about the process of adoption. And they went into detail about the challenges and the joys of adopting a precious child. Sadly they soon decided this would simply not be for them. Although I am disappointed, I think any couple considering this option should consider all the facts before they disappoint an innocent child.
